Postpartum Support

What is a postpartum doula?

A doula is a support person. Postpartum Doulas provide evidence-based information on things from physical recovery from birth, mother-baby bonding, infant soothing and basic newborn care. Research shows that families have an easier time with this transition if a good support team is in place.

What are some benefits of a postpartum doula?

  • Emotional and mental health support

  • Physical recovery guidance

  • Infant feeding and sleep support

What's your postpartum philosophy?

I feel strongly that you can never have too much support. Postpartum is a transition for the entire family and you don't have to go through it alone. Having support in those early postpartum weeks can make such a huge impact on your parenting journey.

I want to help you latch your baby and encourage you to take a nap while you have peace of mind that not only is your baby getting the best care, but when you get up your kitchen will be cleaned up too.

I would be honored to sit up with you at 3am just to hear your birth story while you hold your baby; my support will always be non-judgemental.
